What are the operating procedures for running this business? For content, I start with keyword research, draft the article, and publish it on the blog. I use Canva to create images for the post, as well as social media assets. I sometimes work with a few freelance writers if my budget allows and can provide those contacts if the buyer needs help with content. I monitor analytics in Google Analytics and Ubersuggest. I use ConvertKit for email marketing with a Thrive Quiz Builder integration for one of my lead magnets (other lead magnets are free guides offered through ConvertKit). I review hosting renewals once a year, SEO audits twice a year, and update old articles periodically throughout the year. I also check in on any plugin updates or theme updates that have come through to WordPress about once every 2 weeks.

If you were going to keep the site, what steps would you take over the next 3 to 6 months to grow the income and traffic? I would start with the top 10 posts with the most traffic and look for opportunities to update their content to improve their organic reach on search engines (including researching how to get them to show up in AI snippets), then schedule some new Pinterest pins for the content (maybe even boost some of the pins to create ads on Pinterest for stronger reach), and schedule a few emails to repurpose the content and promote it over the course of those next few weeks. I would also look into the top-earning affiliate programs and brainstorm how I can create content centered around them on both the blog, newsletters, and my digital products (both the free and paid ones). I would also look into how I can add them to existing posts with the highest traffic numbers. Taking that same data of the top-performing affiliates, I would identify which ones would be good candidates to reach out to for sponsored partnerships.
