Weekly tasks include making sure the site is running properly, conducting keyword research and updating SEO data, checking analytics to determine which content is performing best and adjusting accordingly, as well as writing new content for the coming weeks and months. Monthly tasks will be to post 6 – 10 posts per month to keep your website content fresh and to brainstorm new ideas for content for the next month. Social media content calendar (especially the one for Instagram) should be checked for upcoming events and holidays that you can post about. Additionally, review current content to create new variations of popular posts (e.g., “Top 10 Posts You Missed Last Month”) and compare the performance of each piece of content with the previous months. Once the site generates a steady income, the new owner will need to check all the payments from affiliate and ads networks and so on.
