From the Seller
What are the operating procedures for running this business?
--The site’s content strategy is built around three main types of posts: educational content, freebie posts, and affiliate marketing posts.
For the educational content, I initially developed a content silo focused on helping parents and educators teach young children foundational skills. The content begins with early concepts such as learning the alphabet and numbers, then progresses into handwriting, early literacy, and other skills that help prepare children for kindergarten. Before creating new content, I research current teaching methods, topic ideas, and relevant keywords. I then use SEO best practices to structure and write each post.
I use AI primarily as a writing and organizational assistant to help structure posts, improve clarity, and make sure the content flows naturally. Every post is reviewed and edited so it sounds helpful and personable rather than automated or robotic. Once a post is published, I share it across my social media platforms and promote it to my email list.
Freebies are also an important part of the operating strategy. I regularly create small printable resources based on seasons, holidays, or popular educational topics. These freebies are promoted through blog posts, social media, and email marketing to attract new visitors and grow the subscriber list.
For affiliate content, I review offers available through my WarriorPlus account, along with educational resources and programs created for homeschooling families. I select the products I feel would be most useful to my audience and create content that explains the resource, its benefits, and how it may help parents or educators.
For my own digital products, I typically create the product first, then develop a related freebie that introduces readers to the topic or provides a smaller sample of the solution. I then publish supporting blog content, promote the product through email and social media, and create a sales funnel designed to generate both direct product sales and follow-up funnel sales.
Overall, the business follows a connected content system in which educational posts, freebies, affiliate recommendations, digital products, social media, email marketing, and sales funnels work together to build traffic, grow the email list, and generate revenue.
---------------------
If you were going to keep the site, what steps would you take over the next 3 to 6 months to grow the income and traffic? Mainly the same structure listed above, plus pinning a post a few times a week, creating new pins, focus on building up a pinterest account and other socials.
If I were keeping the site, I would continue using the same overall content and monetization strategy while increasing the consistency of promotion and audience growth.
Over the next three to six months, I would focus on publishing more educational content within the existing content silos, creating seasonal and evergreen freebies to grow the email list, and developing additional digital products that connect naturally with the blog content. I would also continue creating affiliate posts around carefully selected educational and homeschooling resources that would be useful to the site’s audience.
A major focus would be growing the site’s Pinterest presence. I would create fresh pins for both new and existing blog posts, pin content several times each week, and build out relevant boards around preschool learning, kindergarten readiness, educational printables, seasonal activities, and homeschooling resources. I would also continue sharing content across the site’s other social media platforms to increase visibility and bring more visitors back to the website.
I would review the site’s highest-performing posts and update them with stronger keywords, improved internal linking, fresh images, relevant freebies, affiliate recommendations, and product offers. I would also create additional supporting posts around topics that are already bringing in traffic.
For digital products, I would continue using a connected funnel strategy by creating the product first, developing a related freebie, publishing supporting blog content, and promoting the offer through email, Pinterest, and social media. I would also build or improve automated email sequences so new subscribers are introduced to relevant content, products, and affiliate offers over time.
The overall goal would be to increase traffic through consistent SEO content and Pinterest promotion while improving income through digital products, affiliate commissions, email marketing, and stronger sales funnels.

Email Marketing
How often do you email your list? I have only just begun to email them. I usually send notifications about new posts through substack.
What is your current open rate and click rate? I have only one email showing up in kit, for some reason, and its showing open rate of 27.27, and it is not showing a click rate, or showing 0, which I had people sign up for freebies. I did split off the account from my main email though, so that could be why.
What service do you use for your email marketing campaigns? Kit
